वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठांतर्गत असलेल्‍या अन्‍नतंत्र
महाविद्यालय व म्‍हैसुर येथील अखिल भारतीय अन्‍नशास्‍त्रज्ञ व तंत्रज्ञ मंडळ यांचे
संयुक्‍त विद्यमाने दिनांक १८ व १९ डिसेंबर रोजी दोन दिवसीय अखिल भारतीय अन्‍नशास्‍त्रज्ञ
व तंत्रज्ञांच्‍या चौव्‍वीसाव्‍या परिषदेचे (फीस्‍ट २०१५) आयोजन करण्‍यात आले
असुन म्‍हैसुर केंद्रिय अन्‍न तंत्रज्ञान संशोधन संस्‍था (सिएफटीआरआय) व डिफेन्‍स फुड रिसर्च
लॅबोरॉटरी सह-आयोजक आहे. सदरिल परिषदेचे उद्घाटन दिनांक १८ डिसेंबर रोजी कृषि
महाविद्यालयाच्‍या सभागृहात सकाळी ९.०० वाजता होणार असुन परभणी जिल्‍हा परिषदेचे
अध्‍यक्ष मा श्री राजेश विटेकर व मुंबई येथील महाराष्‍ट्र चेंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स इंडस्‍ट्री
अॅन्‍ड अॅग्रीकल्‍चरचे अध्‍यक्ष मा श्री शंतनु भडकमकर हे प्रमुख पाहुणे म्‍हणुन
लाभणार आहेत. प्रमुख अतिथी म्‍हणुन म्‍हैसुर येथील केंद्रीय अन्‍न तांत्रिक व
संशोधन संस्‍थाचे संचालक प्रा राम राजशेखरन यांची उपस्थिती लाभणार असुन कुलगुरू मा
डॉ बी व्‍यंकटेश्‍वरलु हे उद्घाटन कार्यक्रमाच्‍या अध्‍यक्षस्‍थानी राहणार आहेत.
यानिमित्‍ताने दिनांक १८ व २० डिसेंबर दरम्‍यान आयोजित अन्‍नप्रक्रिया औद्योगिक
प्रदर्शनीचेही उद्घाटन मान्‍यवरांच्‍या हस्‍ते होणार आहे. दोन दिवस चालणा-या परिषदेच्‍या
तांत्रिक सत्रात देशातील दीडशे पेक्षा जास्‍त अन्‍न शास्‍त्रज्ञ व तंत्रज्ञ
उपस्थित राहुन अन्‍नशास्‍त्र व तंत्रज्ञान यावरील नाविन्‍यपुर्ण संकल्‍पनेवर आपले
विचार मांडणार आहेत. तरी सदरिल उद्घाटन कार्यक्रमास उपस्थित राहण्‍याचे आवाहन
आयोजक तथा प्राचार्य प्रा पा नि सत्‍वधर, प्रा दिलीप मोरे व श्री महंमद गौस यांनी
केले आहे.

Inaugural Function of ICFoST 2015 and Food Expo
College of Food Technology, VNMKV, Parbhani in
collaboration with Association of Food Scientists and Technologists, Mysore is
organising National Convention of Food Scientists and Technologists (ICFOST)
with the theme “FEAST- Farmers Empowerment through Agro-processing and
Sustainable Technologies" on 18th and 19th December at Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth,
Parbhani. The theme of Conference was chosen in view of
present situation of farmers of country and is effort inclining Prime
Minister's vision of empowering farmers for prosperous India and for Make in
India, the agro processing sector also needs refuelling so as to sustain in
global market by Indian food processors. The Inaugural function of this convention is
going to be held on 18 December 2015. The dignitaries for this
inaugural function are Mr. Rajesh Vitekar, President - Zilla
Parishad, Parbhani, Shri. Shantanu Bhadkamker, President -
Maharashtra Chamber of Industry and Agriculture, Mumbai are the Chief Guest
and Prof. Ram Rajasekharan, Director, CFTRI, Mysore as Guest of
Honor and Dr. B. Venkateswarlu, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Parbhani
will preside over the function.
Further, the Food Scientists and Technologists
working all over the country are expected to attend this convention and
innovative topics in the field of Food Science and Technology will be discussed
during the technical session arranged in this occasion. On the eve of this convention, Food Expo dealing
with agriculture and food processing exhibition is also being organized
from 18th to 20th December 2015 which will be beneficial to the
farmers and rural youth to inculcate the entrepreneurship skills among the masses. Prof. P. N. Satwadhar, Associate Dean & Principal, College of
Food Technology, Parbhani appealed to the farmers, self-help groups, budding
entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to participate in this function and get
benefited.
