युवक महोत्सव स्पर्धेत वनामकृविच्‍या विद्यार्थीनीचे घवघवीत यश

पश्चिम विभागीय आंतर विद्यापीठीय युवक महोत्सव स्पर्धा दिनांक २२ ते २६ जानेवारी दरम्‍यान नागपुर येथील राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज नागपूर विद्यापीठात आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या युवक महोत्सवात वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठाचे ३६ विद्यार्थ्‍यांनी लोकनृत्य, माईम, स्कीट, व फाईन आर्ट या प्रकारात विविध स्‍पर्धा प्रकारात सहभाग  नोंदविला होता. यात एकुण तीन पदक पटकावुन तीन विद्यार्थीनीनी घवघवीत यश संपादन केले. मेहंदी कला प्रकारात सिध्‍दी देसाई हिने सुवर्ण पदक आणि कार्टुनींग मध्‍ये चतुर्थ स्‍थान पटकावले तसेच मातीकला प्रकारात प्रिती लवुडिया हिने रौप्‍य पदक, पोस्‍टर मेकिंग मध्‍ये साक्षी डाकुलगे हिने मध्‍ये कास्‍य पदक पटकावले.

या यशाबद्दल कुलगुरु कुलगुरू डॉ. इन्द्र मणि यांनी विशेष कौतुक करतांना म्‍हणाले, कृषी शिक्षणात मुलींचे प्रमाण वाढत असुन या विद्यार्थीनी कला व सां‍स्‍कृतिक स्‍पर्धेत विद्यापीठाचे नाव उज्‍वल करित आहेत. संचालक शिक्षण डॉ. उदय खोडके, कुलसचिव डॉ. पु. को. काळे, विद्यार्थी कल्याण अधिकारी डॉ. पी. आर. झंवर यांनी यशस्वी विद्यार्थीनीचे व संघव्यवस्थापक यांचे अभिनंदन केले. डॉ. आशा देशमुख, यांनी संघ व्यवस्थापक म्हणून काम केले.

VNMKV bagged three medals in Inter University West Zone Youth Festival

 

37^th Inter University West Zone Youth Festival held at the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University from January 22 to 26, 2024.  The students from Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University (VNMAU) stood out with their exceptional performances. A team of 36 students from VNMKV competed in various categories such as folk dance, mime, skit, and fine arts. Their efforts were richly rewarded as they secured three prestigious medals, marking a significant achievement for the university. Siddhi Desai clinched a gold medal in the Mehendi art category and also grabbed the fourth position in cartooning. Preeti Lavudya won a silver medal in clay art, while Sakshi Dakulge earned a bronze in poster making. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Indra Mani expressed his admiration for the achievements, noting the increasing percentage of girl students in agricultural education and their role in enhancing the university's reputation through their participation in art and cultural competitions. The event's success was also acknowledged by Director of Instruction Dr. U.M. Khodke, Registrar Shri. P.K. Kale, and Student Welfare Officer Dr. P.R. Zanvar, who congratulated the victorious students and team managers. Dr. Asha Deshmukh's contribution as the team manager was also recognized.
