शिक्षण प्रकल्‍पांतर्गत डिजिटल शेतीवर आधारीत प्रकल्‍प राबविण्‍यात येत असुन या
प्रकल्‍पांतर्गत डिजिटल शेतीसंबंधीत शैक्षणिक आणि संशोधन उपक्रम राबविण्‍यात येत आहेत.
प्रकल्‍पांर्गत विद्यापीठातील प्राध्‍यापक, संशोधक व विद्यार्थ्‍यांमध्‍ये
डिजिटल शेती संबंधीत कौशल्‍य निर्मिती करणे हा मुख्‍य उद्देश आहे. याचाच एक भाग म्‍हणुन
थायलंड येथील एशियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी या नामांकित संस्‍थेत विद्यापीठांतर्गत
असलेल्‍या विविध महाविद्यालयातील अकरा पदव्‍युत्‍तर विद्यार्थ्‍यांना डिजिटल तंत्रज्ञान
व त्‍याचा वापर या एक महिन्‍याच्‍या आयोजित प्रशिक्षण करिता दिनांक २६ फेब्रुवारी ते
२६ मार्च दरम्‍यान पाठविण्‍यात आले आहे. सदर विद्यार्थ्‍यांचे पदव्‍युत्‍तर संशोधन
हे डिजिटल तंत्रज्ञान व यांत्रिकीकरण यावर आधारित आहे.
सदर विद्यार्थींना शुभेच्‍छा देतांना विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू मा डॉ इन्द्र मणि म्‍हणाले की, परभणी कृषी विद्यापीठाच्‍या इतिहासात प्रथमच विद्यापीठाच्‍या वतीने विद्यार्थ्‍यांना परदेशात प्रशिक्षणास पाठविण्‍यात येत असुन यामुळे विद्यार्थ्‍यांना जागतिकस्‍तरावरील अद्ययावत तंत्रज्ञान अवगत करण्‍याची संधी प्राप्‍त होणार आहे. भविष्‍यात हे विद्यार्थी डिजिटल शेती करिता कुशल मनुष्‍यबळ म्‍हणुन आपले मोलाचे योगदान देणार आहेत. नुकतेच अमेरिकेतील चार नामांकित विद्यापीठांशी परभणी कृषि विद्यापीठांने सामजंस्‍य करार केले असुन दोन संशोधक प्राध्‍यापक अमेरिकेत प्रशिक्षण पुर्ण करून आले आहेत, लवकरच काही विद्यापीठ प्राध्‍यापक व संशोधक यांनाही पाठविण्‍यात येणार आहे. तसेच विद्यार्थीची दुसरा गट थायलंड, मलेशिया व स्पेन येथील नामांकित शैक्षणिक संस्‍थेत पाठविण्‍यात येणार असल्‍याचे ते म्‍हणाले.
सदर विद्यार्थ्‍यांना पाठविण्‍यात करिता कुलगुरू मा डॉ इन्द्र मणि यांच्‍या मार्गदर्शनानुसार शिक्षण संचालक डॉ धर्मराज गोखले, कुलसचिव डॉ धिरजकुमार कदम, विद्यापीठ नियंत्रिका डॉ दिपाराणी देवतराज, प्रकल्‍पाचे मुख्‍य अन्‍वेषक डॉ गोपाल शिंदे, महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ सय्यद ईस्‍माईल, डॉ उदय खोडके, डॉ राजेश क्षीरसागर, डॉ जया बंगाळे आदीसह विभाग प्रमुख, नाहेप प्रकल्‍पातील प्राध्‍यापक व कर्मचारी यांनी सहकार्य केले.
PG students of VNMKV selected for International Training at Thailand on Digital Farming
Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University (VNMAU), Parbhani is being implemented the World Bank funded and ICAR, New Delhi sponsored project National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) on digital farming. The main objective of the project is to train students and faculty members of the university in digital farming. As a part of this, eleven post-graduate students of the University have been sent to premier Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand for a one-month training programme on digital technology during February 26 to March 26. The postgraduate research of the said student is based on digital technology and farm mechanization.
While congratulating these students, Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Indra Mani said that it is the first time in the history of VNMKV, Parbhani, the students are being sent for training abroad, and this will give the students an opportunity to learn the latest technology at the global level. In future, these students will give their valuable contribution as skilled manpower for digital agriculture development. Recently, VNMKV has signed an agreement with four premier universities of USA and two research professors have completed their training in University of Florida. Soon some university professors and researchers will also be sent abroad. He also said that the second group of students will be also sent to reputed educational institutions in Thailand, Malaysia and Spain.
Vice-Chancellor (VNMAU) Dr. Indra Mani, National Director (NAHEP) Dr. R.C.Agrawal, and National Coordinator (NAHEP) Dr. Anuradha Agrawal have encouraged and support the students for the international training. Principal Investigator Dr. G.U. Shinde and Senior officers of the university guided the students. The PG students viz., Nikhil Patil, Tadavi Sameer, Shubham Girdekar, Leona Gurrala, Anshul Singh, Anjali Sharma, Anjali Meshram, Kadam Ganesh, Harkal Anil, Achyut Pillewad, Sushama Mane are selected for the said training.
