संशोधनास चालना देण्यासाठी नवी दिल्ली येथील भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषदे द्वारे कृषि क्षेत्रातील ई-रिसोर्सची ऑनलाईन यंत्रणा म्हणजेच सेरा प्रकल्प राबविण्यात येतो. यात उत्कृष्ट दर्जाची सहा हजारापेक्षा अधिक आंतरराष्ट्रीय व राष्ट्रीय ई-नियतकालिके कृषि संशोधकांसाठी उपलब्ध आहेत. या सुविधेचा योग्यरित्या उपयोग वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठातील शास्त्रज्ञ प्राध्यापक व विद्यार्थ्यांनी सन २०२२ मध्ये आपल्या संशोधनासाठी केला याबाबत पश्चिम विभागातुन विद्यापीठ ग्रंथालयास जे-गेट सीआरएच्या सर्वोत्कृष्ट पुरस्कार (J-Gate@CeRA - बेस्ट युसेज पुरस्कार) प्राप्‍त केला. सदरील पुरस्कार दिनांक २१ डिसेंबर २०२३ रोजी आनंद (गुजरात) येथे आनंद कृषि विद्यापीठ आयोजीत कार्यशाळेत प्रदान करण्‍यात आला. विद्यापीठ ग्रंथपाल डॉ. संतोष कदम व श्री. मोहनकुमार झोरे यांनी स्वीकारला. पुरस्‍काराबाबत कुलगुरू मा डॉ इन्‍द्र मणि यांनी अभिनंदन करून म्‍हणाले की, सेरा पुरस्‍कारामुळे हे लक्षात येत आहे की, विद्यापीठातील संशोधक व विद्यार्थी राष्ट्रीय व आंतरराष्ट्रीय पातळीवरील कृषि क्षेत्रातील संशोधन लेखाचे सातत्‍याने वाचन करीत आहेत.
कन्सोर्टियम फॉर ई-रिसोर्सेस इन अॅग्रीकल्चर (CeRA - सेआरए या नावाने प्रसिद्ध) हे भारतीय कृषी संशोधन परिषदेच्या अंतर्गत राष्ट्रीय कृषी संशोधन आणि शिक्षण प्रणाली लायब्ररींसाठी कृषी ग्रंथालयांचे एक ई-कन्सोर्टियम आहे. देशातील सर्व संशोधक, शिक्षक आणि विद्यार्थी, धोरणकर्ते, नियोजक, प्रशासक आणि विस्तार तज्ञांना कृषी आणि संबंधित विज्ञानातील निवडक जर्नल्ससाठी ऑनलाइन सुविधा यात आहे. हे व्यासपीठ ज्ञानाच्या प्रगतीत आणि भारतातील कृषी क्षेत्राच्या वाढीसाठी योगदान देते. संशोधन उपक्रमांना प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी आणि चा वापर करण्यासाठी, दरवर्षी प्रादेशिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आयोजित केले जातात ज्यामध्ये संस्थांना विविध श्रेणींमध्ये पुरस्कार दिले जातात.
VNMKV’s Library honored with 'Best Usage of J-Gate@CeRA Award
The University Library of VNMKV, Parbhani has been honored with the prestigious 'Best Usage of J-Gate@CeRA Discovery Platform-2022' award for the year 2022. The accolade was presented during a Regional Training cum Awareness Workshop organized by Informatics Publishing Limited, Bangalore, in collaboration with the Agricultural Education Division, ICAR, New Delhi, at Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat). The Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture, better known as CeRA, stands as a beacon of digital resources in the realm of agricultural knowledge. Established in 2007, CeRA represents an e-Consortium of Agricultural Libraries under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, dedicated to supporting the National Agricultural Research and Education System Libraries. The awards were accepted by the university's librarian, Dr. Santosh Kadam, and Shri. Mohankumar Jhore. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Indra Mani, congratulated the recipients and emphasized that the CeRA Award symbolize the dedication of the university's researchers and students who diligently engage in reading research articles on national and international levels, thereby enhancing the knowledge base in the agricultural domain.
Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture (popularly known as CeRA) is an e-Consortium of Agricultural Libraries under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research for National Agricultural Research and Education System Libraries. Established in 2007, CeRA is the first of its kind for facilitating 24×7 online access to select journals in agricultural and allied sciences to all researchers, teachers and students, policy planners, administrators and extension specialists. J-Gate@CeRA is an essential component of the Indian academic landscape, offering a wealth of electronic resources and research materials to support education and research in the field of agriculture. This platform contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the growth of the agricultural sector in India. This consortium is funded by ICAR to provide free access to extensive and authentic research articles to all agricultural institutions. To promote research activities and the use of J-Gate@CeRA , regional training programs are conducted yearly in which Institutions are awarded under various categories.
