वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषी विद्यापीठ परभणी येथे विद्यापीठाचे माननीय कुलगुरू डॉ. इन्‍द्र मणि यांच्या उपस्थितीत नुकतीच कृषी अभियंता संस्था परभणी शाखेची सभा पार पडली. यामध्ये पुढील तीन वर्षासाठी नवीन कार्यकारिणीची निवड करण्यात आली. संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून कृषी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ.उदय खोडके यांची एकमताने निवड करण्यात आली. संस्थेच्या कार्यकारणी मध्ये डॉ. आर. टी.रामटेके - उपाध्यक्ष (तांत्रिक समिती), डॉ.आर.जी.भाग्यवंत - उपाध्यक्ष (कृती समिती), डॉ. व्ही. के. इंगळे - सचिव, इंजि. दीपक राऊत - सहसचिव व कोषाध्यक्ष, तर डॉ. स्मिता खोडके, इंजि. गंगाधर कोल्हे, डॉ. स्मिता सोलंकी, डॉ. एस. डी. विखे, प्रा. एम. आर. मोरे, इंजि. एल व्ही राऊतमारे आदींची सदस्य म्हणून कृषी अभियंता संस्थेच्या परभणी शाखेच्या सर्वसाधारण सभेत एकमताने निवड झाली. या संस्थेचे आश्रयदाते म्हणून कुलगुरू मा डॉ इन्‍द्र मणि हे असुन माजी कुलगुरू डॉ. के. पी. गोरे, माजी संशोधन संचालक डॉ.जी.आर.मोरे, माजी प्राचार्य डॉ. आर.जी. नादरे, डॉ. एस. बी. सोनी हे या शाखेस मार्गदर्शक म्‍हणुन लाभणार आहेत.
यासाठी
राष्ट्रीय पातळीवरील कृषी अभियंता संस्थेशी समन्वय आणि कृषी अभियांत्रिकीशी संबधित
विविध योजनांचा राज्यात व मराठवाड्यात विकास व्हावा यासाठी परभणी शाखा कार्यरत
राहणार आहे. याद्वारे कृषी अभियांत्रिकी शिक्षणातील बदल, पदवीधरांसाठी व्यवसाय मार्गदर्शन
व समुपदेशन यावर सुद्धा सदरील शाखा भर देणार आहे.
कृषी अभियांत्रिकी विद्याशाखेकडून भारतीय कृषी क्षेत्रात आगामी काळात फार मोठे योगदान अपेक्षित आहे. कृषी यांत्रिकीकरण, एकात्मिक पाणलोट क्षेत्र विकास, हवामान बदल, माती आणि पाण्याचे व्यवस्थापन, स्वयंचलित सिंचन पद्धती, कृषी प्रक्रिया व मूल्यवर्धन, सुरक्षित व पौष्टिक अन्न, हरित ऊर्जा, सौर ऊर्जेचा कृषी क्षेत्रात वापर, ड्रोन व स्वयंचलित यंत्रे यांचा कृषी क्षेत्रात वापर, संरक्षित शेती या बाबींचे पुढील काळात अतिशय महत्व असणार आहे. नूतन कार्यकारिणीचे कुलगुरू मा.डॉ. इन्‍द्र मणि यांनी अभिनंदन केले आणि राज्यातील कृषी अभियांत्रिकी शाखेचे पदवीधर, विदयार्थी आणि शेतकरी यांच्या विकासासाठी संस्थेने काम करावे असे मत व्‍यक्‍त केले. देशभरात या संस्थेचे ५००० पेक्षा जास्त सभासद असून परभणी शाखे अंतर्गत १७० सभासद आहेत.
Nomination
of Executive Council of Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers Parbhani
Recently
in Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani,
a meeting of Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE) Parbhani Chapter
was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. Indra Mani Hon. Vice Chancellor to
nominate the Executive Council of Parbhani Chapter for next 3 years. Dr. Uday
Khodke, Associate Dean of College of Agricultural Engineering is unanimously
nominated as Chairman of the Society. The executive Council includes Dr. Rahul
Ramteke (VP Technical), Dr. R. G. Bhagyawant (VP Activity), Vishal Ingle
Secretary, and Deepak Raut as Joint Secretary cum treasurer whereas Dr Smita
Khodke, Dr Smita Solanki, Er.
Gangadhar Kolhe, Dr. Subhash Vikhe, Dr. Madhukar More, Er. Laxmikant Rautmare will
be the members of council.
Hon.
VC of VNMKV Parbhani Dr. Indra Mani will act as the Patron of Society whereas
Dr. K. P. Gore Former VC, Dr. G. R. More Former Director of Research, Dr. R. G.
Nadre and Dr. S. B. Soni former Associate Deans of College will be the
advisors. The Parbhani Chapter of ISAE will coordinate with the National Level
committee of ISAE and will work on the various schemes and projects related to
Agricultural Engineering Profession in Marathwada. The committee will also
emphasize on changes in Agricultural Engineering education, placement and
counselling for students.
Indian
Agriculture requires major contribution from Agricultural Engineering division
to combat the challenges of climate change, shortage of labours and energy,
higher input cost and precision in agriculture. In future Agriculture has to
depend on mechanization, integrated watershed development, automation in
irrigation, precision agriculture, clean and green energy, food safety and
value addition, use of drones, robotics, sensors and telemetric, sensor-based
harvesting, storage, smart packaging, non-destructive evaluation of food safety
and quality. Hence there is a need to establish professional societies like Indian
Society of Agricultural Engineers at regional level to address the local
and regional problems.
Hon. VC Dr Indra Mani congratulated the executive committee of ISAE and requested to work for the development of Agricultural Engineering graduates, students and farmers of Marathwada and Maharashtra. There are more than 5000 members of ISAE in the country and 170 members in Marathwada.
