अधिक उत्पादनक्षम वाण विकसित करतांना अजैविक ताण सहनशील क्षमतेचा अंतर्भाव करावा..... कुलगुरु मा डॉ. अशोक ढवण

वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठ आणि जागतिक बँक पुरस्कृत राष्ट्रीय कृषी उच्य शिक्षण प्रकल्प (नाहेप), भारतीय कृषी अनुसंधान परिषद नवी दिल्ली यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने २९ जून ते 3 जुलै दरम्‍यान आयोजित डिजिटल साधनांच्या माध्यमातून पिकांचे अजैविक ताण व्यवस्थापन या विषयावरील ऑनलाईन प्रशिक्षणाचा समारोप दि. ३ जुलै रोजी कुलगुरू मा. डॉ. अशोक ढवण अध्‍यक्षतेखाली संपन्‍न झाला. कार्यक्रमास प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून राहुरी येथील महात्मा फुले कृषी विद्यापीठाचे कुलगूरू मा. डॉ के. पी. विश्वनाथा तर भारतीय कृषी अनुसंधान परिषदेतील वनस्पती शरीरक्रियाशास्त्राचे विभाग प्रमुख डॉ. व्ही चिन्नुसामी, संचालक शिक्षण डॉ. धर्मराज गोखले यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती होती.

समारोप प्रसंगी मा डॉ. के. पी विश्वनाथा म्हणाले की, विविध विषयातील शास्त्रज्ञांनी एकत्र येऊन शेतकऱ्यांसाठी डिजिटल तंत्रज्ञानाचा ऊपयोग करुन अजैविक ताण सहन करणाऱ्या वाणांची निर्मिती करण्याचा प्रयत्न कराव. तसेच शास्त्रज्ञांनी नवनिर्मित संशोधन करुन शेतक-र्यांना डिजिटल शेती करण्यासाठी प्रोत्साहित करावे. 

अध्यक्षीय समारोपात मा डॉ. अशोक ढवण म्‍हणाले की, अधिक उत्पादन देणाऱ्या वाणांची निर्मिती करत असताना अजैविक ताण सहन करणाऱ्या घटकांचा समावेश संशोधनात करावा. राज्‍यातील कृषि शास्त्रज्ञांनी राज्यस्तरावर संशोधनाची दिशा ठरवून अभ्यास करावा.   

पाच दिवसीय प्रशिक्षणात ऑस्ट्रेलिया येथील वेस्टर्न युनीव्हर्सीटीचे संचालक प्रा. कदमबोट सिद्धीक, अमेरीका येथील कान्स स्टेट युनीव्हर्सीटीचे डॉ. पी. व्ही. वरप्रसाद, अमेरिकास्थित भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषदे माजी विभाग प्रमुख डॉ पी. एस. देशमुख, केरळ येथील सीपीसीआरआयचे निवृत्त संचालक डॉ. वेलामुर राजगोपाल, भारतीय कृषी अनुसंधान परिषद नवी दिल्ली येथील डॉ. व्ही. चीन्नुस्वामी, विभाग प्रमुख, वनस्पती शरीरक्रियाशास्त्र आनुवंशिकी विभागाचे प्रमुख शास्त्रज्ञ डॉ. सी. भारव्दाज, हैद्राबाद येथील केंद्रीय कोरडवाहु शेती संशोधन संस्थेचे डॉ. एम. माहेश्वरी, युनिव्हरसीटी ऑफ इलीनीऑस (अमेरीका) चे शास्‍त्रज्ञ डॉ. नितीन कदम, डॉ. पुसा (बिहार) येथील राजेंद्र प्रसाद केंद्रीय कृषी विद्यापिठाचे डॉ राजीव बहुगुना, जपान येथील वरिष्ठ संशोधक डॉ. व्ही. देशमुख आदींनी विविध विषयावर मार्गदर्शन करुन प्रशिक्षण घेणाऱ्याचे शंकानिरण केले. सदरील ऑनलाइन प्रशिक्षणात भारत, अमेरिका, जपान, ब्राझील, नेपाळ, पाकिस्तान, पोर्तुगाल, फिलिपिन्स, व्हींतनाम, नायजेरिया अन्य देश येथून कृषी शास्त्राशी निगडीत संशोधक, प्राध्यापक व आचार्य विद्यार्थी असे एकूण ५०० प्रशिक्षणार्थी सहभागी होते.

प्रशिक्षाण सहभागी प्रशिक्षणार्थींनी प्रशिक्षणाबाबत आपले मनोगत व्‍यक्‍त केले. प्रमुख अन्वेषक डॉ. गोपाळ शिंदे यांनी नाहेप प्रकल्पाबाबत माहिती दिली तर कार्यक्रम सचिव डॉ. गोदावरी पवार यांनी प्रशिक्षणाचा आढावा सादर केला. सूत्रसंचालन डॉ. रश्मी बंगाळे यांनी तर विस्तार शिक्षण विभागाचे विभाग प्रमुख डॉ. राजेश कदम यांनी आभार मानले. कार्यक्रम यशस्‍वीतेसाठी इंजि. शैलेश शिंदे , डॉ. हेमंत रोकडे, रहिम खान, डॉ. स्वाती मुंडे , इंजि. गोपाळ रनेर, श्री जगदीश माने आदींनी परिश्रम घेतले.

One week online international training program concluded

One Week Online International Training Program on “Recent Physio-Molecular Digital Tools in Abiotic Stress Management for Crop Modelling” organised by the National Agriculture Higher Education Project (NAHEP), VNMKV, Parbhani during 29th June to 3rd July 2020. The valedictory function of the training was presided over by Hon. Dr. Ashok Dhawan, Vice Chancellor, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani and the chief guest of the function was Hon. Dr. K.P. Vishwanatha, Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Phule Agricultural University, Rahuri. The guest of honor Dr. V Chinnusami, Head of Department Plant Physiology, ICAR, New Delhi and Dr. Dharmaraj Gokhale, Dean, VNMKV, Parbhani were attended the programme. 

In his speech, Honble VC Dr. K.P.Viswanatha was appealed to agricultural scientists regarding preparation of interdisciplinary research projects for the development of climate resilient varieties with the help of digital technologies for farming community. This is necessary under global warming and climate change situation.

In his presidential remarks Honble VC Dr Ashok Dhawan guided researches to work on the development of high yielding, abiotic stress tolerant varieties suitable for changing climate conditions. Also appeal to agriculture scientists to develop state level research policy for conducting research.

Dr DN Gokhale appealed post graduate students to materialized the information acquired during training for their future research projects.

Dr P.S Deshmukh, Emeritus scientist and former Head, Division of Plant Physiology ICAR-IARI New Delhi, Dr Velamoor Rajagopal, Former Director, CPCRI (Kerala) and President Society for Hunger Elimination (SHE), Prof. Viswanathan Chinnusamy, Head, Division of Plant Physiology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, Prof. C Bhardwaj, Principal Scientist, Division of Genetics, ICAR IARI New Delhi, Prof. M.Maheshwari, Head, Division of Crop Science, ICAR CRIDA Hyderabad. Dr Nitin Kadam, Institute of Genomics Biology University of Illinois, Illinois, (USA). Dr Rajeev N Bahuguna, Dr Rajendra Prasad, Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar and Dr Vivek Deshmukh, Senior Researcher, Farmship Company Limited Japan, Tokyo were guided the participants.

Five Hundred Participants across the globe including India, America, Japan, Spain, Pakistan, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Israel, Afghanistan, Ghana, Kenya and to name few were interacted with experts on different subjects and expressed that the training will be fruitful to build up new interdisciplinary links among researchers.

Dr. G U Shinde, PI, NAHEP informed about the project and Organising Secretary Dr. Godawari Pawar were presented a review of the training. Dr. Rajesh Kadam, Head, Dept. of Extension Education and Co-PI NAHEP proposed vote of thanks. Dr.Rashmi Bangale, Dr.Hemant Rokade, Raheem Khan, Dr.Swati Mundhe, Er.Shailesh Shinde and Er.Gopal Raner were took efforts for success of the programme.
