महिलासाठी श्रम बचतीच्या साधनांच्या बळकटीकरणासाठी करार लाभदायक... माननीय कुलगुरू डॉ. इन्द्र मणि
महिलांचा शेती कामामध्ये लक्षणीय सहभाग असून त्यांना काम करतानाचे श्रम कमी
होण्याच्या दृष्टीने वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठातील अखिल भारतीय समन्वयित
संशोधन प्रकल्प - कृषिरत महिला या योजनेद्वारे संशोधनाच्या
माध्यमातून शेतकऱ्यांसाठी श्रम बचतीचे विविध साधने विकसित केलेली आहेत. या
साधनापैकी दूध काढण्यासाठीची घडवंची आणि तिपाई तयार करून बाजारामध्ये विक्रीसाठी
सहज उपलब्ध होण्याच्या दृष्टीने वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठ आणि ओरिसा
राज्यातील भुवनेश्वर येथील भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषदे अंतर्गतच्या केंद्रीय
कृषिरत महिला संस्थान यांनी राजस्थानमधील उदयपूर येथील सिंघवी सेल्स कार्पोरेशन
सोबत दिनांक १८ जुलै रोजी सामंजस्य करार विद्यापीठाचे माननीय कुलगुरू डॉ. इन्द्र मणि
यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली केला. सदर करारामुळे दूध काढण्याची घडवंची आणि तिपाई
उत्पादन कार्पोरेशनद्वारे करण्यात येईल व ते शेतकऱ्यांना खरेदीसाठी सहज उपलब्ध
होईल. या करारावरती विद्यापीठाचे संशोधन संचालक डॉ. खिजर बेग, केंद्रीय कृषिरत महिला
संस्थांच्या संचालक डॉ. मृदुला देवी आणि कार्पोरेशनचे संचालक श्री. दीपक सिंघवी
यांनी स्वाक्षऱ्या केल्या. यावेळी विद्यापीठाचे शिक्षण संचालक डॉ. उदय खोडके,
विस्तार शिक्षण संचालक डॉ. भगवान आसेवार, सहयोगी
अधिष्ठाता डॉ. जया बंगाळे, विभाग प्रमुख डॉ स्मिता सोलंकी, उप विद्यापीठ अभियंता डॉ. दयानंद टेकाळे आदींची
उपस्थिती होती.
अध्यक्षीय भाषणात बोलताना माननीय कुलगुरू डॉ. इन्द्र मणि म्हणाले की, महाराष्ट्रातील
महिला मेहनती आणि सक्षम आहेत. त्यांचे शेती विकास, खेळ, सांस्कृतिक क्षेत्रासह
कुटुंबाच्या दैनंदिन जीवनमानात आणि विकासात महत्त्वाचे स्थान आहे. तसेच पुरुषांची
आणि महिलांची शारीरिक रचना वेगवेगळी असून श्रमशक्ती वेगवेगळी असते. याकरिता महिलांना
शेतीमध्ये काम करताना त्यांच्या श्रमाची बचत करून त्यांचे आरोग्य सांभाळण्यासाठी
विद्यापीठाच्या अखिल भारतीय समन्वयित प्रकल्प कृषिरत महिला योजनेद्वारे विविध
उपयुक्त साधने संशोधनातून विकसित केलेली आहेत. ही साधने शेतकऱ्यांपर्यंत कमी
खर्चात आणि वेळेत पोहोचणे गरजेचे आहे. यातील दूध काढण्याची घडवंची आणि तिपाई
यामुळे दूध काढताना शेतकरी महिला व पुरुषांचे श्रम कमी होवून दूध काढते वेळी
जनावरांनी लाथ मारून दुधाचे होणारे नुकसान टाळण्यासाठी अतिशय उपयुक्त असे साधन आहे.
हे साधन कार्पोरेशन द्वारे उत्पादित करून शेतकऱ्यांना सहज विकत मिळणार असून
महिलांसाठी विकसित श्रम बचतीचे इतर साधनांचे कार्पोरेशन आणि उद्योगाद्वारे उत्पादन
प्रक्रियेस बळकटीकरणासाठी हा सामंजस्य करार लाभदायक ठरणार असल्याचे मत व्यक्त
केले.
यावेळी केंद्रीय कृषिरत महिला संस्थानच्या संचालक डॉ. मृदुला देवी म्हणाल्या
की, शेतीमध्ये काम करणाऱ्या कामगारांमध्ये महिला कामगार जवळपास ३८ टक्के आहेत. या
महिलांची कार्यक्षमता वाढवण्याच्या दृष्टीने तसेच श्रमाची बचत करण्यासाठी देशातील
विविध राज्यातील समन्वयित प्रकल्पांतर्गत संशोधन करून साधने विकसित केली जात आहेत.
याबरोबरच पाच वेगवेगळ्या प्रकल्पाद्वारे देशातील सर्व पर्यावरण क्षेत्रातून जवळपास
७० हजार महिला शेतकऱ्यांचा अभ्यास करण्यात येणार असून त्यातील निष्कर्षावर
संशोधनाची दिशा ठरवण्यात येणार आहे. परभणी येथील समन्वयित प्रकल्पाने अनेक उपयुक्त
साधने विकसित केली आहेत. यातील दूध काढण्यासाठीची घडवंची आणि तिपाई राजस्थान मध्ये
अतिशय लोकप्रिय आहे म्हणून याची उपलब्धता राजस्थान सह संपूर्ण देशात होण्याच्या
दृष्टीने हा करार करण्यात येत आहे. याबरोबरच प्रकल्पातील सर्व संशोधनयुक्त साधने उद्योगाद्वारे
सामंजस्य करार करून उत्पादित करून शेतकऱ्यापर्यंत पोहोचवली जाणार असल्याचे नमूद केले.
यावेळी संशोधन संचालक डॉ. खिजर बेग यांनी विद्यापीठाचे संशोधन कार्य,
बीजोत्पादन, विद्यापीठाचे क्षेत्र विकास तसेच राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर नावाजलेले
विद्यापीठाचे विविध वाणाबद्दल तसेच शिक्षण संचालक डॉ. उदय खोडके यांनी
विद्यापीठाचा इतिहास आणि शैक्षणिक कार्याची माहिती दिली.
सामंजस्य कराराची प्रस्तावना समन्वयित प्रकल्पाच्या घटक समन्विका डॉ. सुनिता काळे यांनी केली. कार्यक्रमात मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते वरिष्ठ शास्त्रज्ञ डॉ. नीता गायकवाड आणि यंग प्रोफेशनल श्री प्रसाद देशमुख लिखित श्रीअन्न ग्राम योजना आणि शेतकरी महिलासांठी उपजीविका सुरक्षितता या दोन घडीपत्रिकाचे विमोचन करण्यात आले. यावेळी माननीय कुलगुरू यांचे तांत्रिक अधिकारी डॉ. प्रवीण कापसे, प्रकल्पाचे वरिष्ठ शास्त्रज्ञ डॉ. जयश्री रोडगे, डॉ. सुनीलदत्त जक्कावाड आणि सर्व यंग प्रोफेशनल उपस्थित होते.

Corporation of Rajasthan.

Women have a significant role in
agricultural work, and in order to reduce their drudgery, the All India
Coordinated Research Project on Women in Agricultural at Vasantrao Naik
Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani has developed various drudgery reducing tools
for farmers through research. Among these tools, a revolving milking stand and
stool have been developed and made
readily available for sale in the market. To facilitate this, Vasantrao Naik
Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and the ICAR - Central Institute for Women
in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with
Singhvi Sales Corporation, Udaipur, Rajasthan, on July 18 under the
chairmanship of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Indra Mani. As a result of
this agreement, the production of the revolving milking stand and stool will be
undertaken by the corporation, making them easily available for purchase by
farmers. The agreement was signed by Dr. Khizer Baig, Director of Research,
VNMKV, Dr. Mridula Devi, Director of the Central Institute for Women in Agriculture,
and Mr. Deepak Singhvi, Director of the Corporation. Present at the occasion
were Dr. Uday Khodke, Director of Instruction, , Dr. Bhagwan Asewar, Director
of Extension Education, Dr. Jaya Bangale, Associate Dean, Dr. Smita Solanki,
Head of Department, and Dr. Dayanand Tekale, Associate University Engineer.
In his presidential speech, Honorable
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Indra Mani stated that the women of Maharashtra are
hardworking and capable. They hold an important place in agricultural
development, sports, cultural fields, and the daily life and development of
their families. Additionally, the physical structure and drudgery capacity of
men and women are different. Therefore, to save drudgery and maintain the
health of women working in agriculture, the All India Coordinated Research Project
for Women in Agriculture, VNMKV has developed various useful tools through
research. It is essential that these tools reach farmers cost-effectively and
timely. Among these, the revolving milking stand and stool are extremely useful
tools for reducing drudgery for both men and women while milking, and they help
prevent the loss of milk due to animals kicking during the process. This tool
will be produced by the corporation and made readily available for purchase by
farmers. They expressed that this Memorandum of Understanding will be
beneficial for strengthening the production process of other drudgery reducing
tools developed for women through collaboration with corporations and
industries.
On this occasion, Dr. Mridula Devi,
Director of the Central Institute for Women in Agriculture, stated that nearly
38% of the laborers working in agriculture are women. To enhance the efficiency
of these women and save their drudgery, tools are being developed through
research under coordinated projects in various states of the country. Along
with this, around 70,000 women farmers from all ecological zones of the country
will be studied through five different projects, and the direction of the
research will be determined based on the conclusions drawn from this study. The
coordinated project in Parbhani has developed many useful tools. Among these,
the revolving milking stand and stool are very popular in Rajasthan, and hence,
this agreement is being made to ensure their availability throughout Rajasthan
as well as the entire country. Additionally, all research-based tools from the
project will be produced through industrial agreements and made accessible to
farmers, as noted.
On this occasion, Dr. Khizer Baig,
Director of Research, provided information about the university's research
activities, seed production, field development, and the various nationally
acclaimed varieties developed by the university. Dr. Uday Khodke, Director of Instruction,
shared the history of the university and its educational activities.
