 राज्यातील महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थी-विद्यार्थिनी गिरविणार आपत्कालीन व्यवस्थापनाचे धडे

महाराष्ट्र व गुजरात राज्यांचे माननीय राज्यपाल तथा विद्यापीठाचे कुलपती श्री. आचार्य देवव्रत यांच्या निर्देशानुसार डॉ. पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषि विद्यापीठ, अकोला येथे आयोजित “महाराष्ट्र राज्य आंतरविद्यापीठ आपत्तीपूर्व तयारी प्रशिक्षण शिबिर” उद्घाटनप्रसंगी विशेष अतिथी म्हणून मनोगत व्यक्त करताना वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठ, परभणीचे माननीय कुलगुरू प्रा. (डॉ.) इन्द्र मणि यांनी सांगितले की, सशक्त राष्ट्रनिर्मितीत युवकांची मध्यवर्ती भूमिका असून भारत हा युवकांचा देश आहे. स्वयंपूर्ण व सक्षम राष्ट्रनिर्मितीत युवकांचे योगदान अत्यंत मोलाचे आहे. आपत्ती व्यवस्थापनाचे मूलभूत धडे शाळा व महाविद्यालयीन स्तरावरच मिळणे आवश्यक असल्याचे त्यांनी नमूद केले. त्याचबरोबर युवकांच्या सर्वांगीण विकासासाठी मैदानी खेळांचे महत्त्वही त्यांनी अधोरेखित केले. हे प्रशिक्षण शिबिर दिनांक १७ ते २४ जानेवारी २०२६ या कालावधीत आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे.

कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षीय भाषणात डॉ. पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषि विद्यापीठ, अकोलाचे माननीय कुलगुरू डॉ. शरद गडाख म्हणाले की, कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेसह इंटरनेट आणि इतर समाज माध्यमाच्या आत्याधिक भडीमारामुळे अलीकडील काळातील युवा पिढी काहीशी अलिप्ततेकडे झुकत असून आत्मनिर्भर राष्ट्राच्या निर्मितीसाठी आता एकात्मिक प्रयत्नांची गरज आधोरेखित झाली आहे. युवकांच्या देशातील युवा पिढीने आता अधिक समाजाभीमुख होणे गरजेचे असल्याचे सांगताना ह्या करिता शाळा, महाविद्यालयानी सामाजिक उपक्रमात अधिकाधिक विद्यार्थ्यांना सहभागी करून घेण्याची गरज प्रतिपादित केली. ते पुढे म्हणाले की, महामहीम राज्यपाल महोदयांच्या कल्पकतेतून आव्हान सारख्या काळसुसंगत उपक्रमांची मालिका महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थ्यांना राष्ट्रप्रेम, स्वतःची जबाबदारी, कर्तव्य आदींची जाण अधिक भक्कम करणारी असल्याचे गौरवोदगार काढले व डॉ. पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषि विद्यापीठाला राज्यस्तरीय आव्हान- चान्सलर्स ब्रिगेड राज्यस्तरीय आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन शिबिराचे आयोजनाचा बहुमान प्राप्त करून दिल्याबद्दल माननीय राज्यपालांप्रति कृतज्ञता देखिल व्यक्त केली. 

कार्यक्रमात महाराष्ट्र पशु व मत्स्य विज्ञान विद्यापीठ नागपूरचे माननीय कुलगुरू डॉ. नितीन पाटील यांनी युवा पिढीला सामाजिक जबाबदारीची अधिक जाण देत समाजाप्रती आपण देणे लागतो ही भावना वृद्धिंगत करण्याचे आवाहन केले. याप्रसंगी एनडीआरएफ अकॅडमी नागपूरचे संचालक ब्रिगेडियर आर सत्यनारायण तथा एनडीआरएफ पुण्याची कमांडंट संतोष बहादुर सिंह यांनी समावेशित विचार व्यक्त करताना राष्ट्रीय आपत्ती व्यवस्थापनावर अधिक प्रकाश टाकत राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजनेच्या स्वयंसेवकांकडून या राष्ट्रीय कार्यात जोमाने सहभागी होण्याच्या अपेक्षा व्यक्त केल्या.

आठ दिवस चालणाऱ्या या प्रशिक्षणात माननीय कुलगुरू प्रा. (डॉ.) इन्द्र मणि आणि शिक्षण संचालक डॉ. भगवान आसेवार यांच्या प्रेरणेतून तसेच विद्यार्थी कल्याण अधिकारी डॉ राजेश कदम यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठाच्या राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजनेतील आठ विद्यार्थ्यांच्या चमूने कार्यक्रम अधिकारी डॉ. सुभाष विखे यांच्यासह सहभाग नोदाविला आहे.

उद्घाटन सत्राचे प्रसंगी विद्यापीठ कार्यकारी परिषदेचे सन्मानीय सदस्य, सर्व संचालक, प्रशासकीय अधिकारी, सहयोगी अधिष्ठाता, विभाग प्रमुख, विद्यार्थी कल्याण अधिकारी तसेच वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठ परभणीचे विद्यापीठ समन्वयक डॉ. राजेश कदम,  यांच्यासह महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व विद्यापीठांचे समन्वयक त्यांच्या विद्यार्थी चमूसह सहभागी झाले.

College Students Across the State to Learn Essential Lessons in Emergency and Disaster Management

 

As per the directives of the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat and Chancellor of the University, Shri Acharya Devvratji, the “Maharashtra State Inter-University Pre-Disaster Preparedness Training Camp” was organized at Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University, Akola.

While expressing his views as the Chief Guest at the inaugural function, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, Prof. (Dr.) Indra Mani, stated that youth play a central role in building a strong nation, and India is a country of youth. He emphasized that the contribution of youth is extremely valuable in building a self-reliant and capable nation. He further mentioned that basic lessons of disaster management should be imparted at the school and college level itself. Along with this, he also highlighted the importance of outdoor sports for the overall development of youth.

This training camp has been organized during the period from 17th to 24th January 2026.

In his presidential address, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University, Akola, Dr. Sharad Gadakh, stated that due to the excessive influence of artificial intelligence, the internet, and various social media platforms, the younger generation in recent times is gradually moving towards social detachment. He emphasized that for building a self-reliant nation, there is now a strong need for collective and integrated efforts.

While stressing that the youth of the country must become more socially responsible and community-oriented, he underlined the necessity for schools and colleges to involve a larger number of students in social initiatives and outreach activities.

He further remarked that the series of timely and innovative initiatives such as Aavhan, conceptualized under the visionary guidance of the Hon’ble Governor, play a significant role in strengthening values like patriotism, personal responsibility, and sense of duty among college students. He also expressed words of appreciation and gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor for bestowing upon Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University the honor of organizing the state-level Aavhan – Chancellor’s Brigade Disaster Management Training Camp.

During the programme, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur, Dr. Nitin Patil, appealed to the youth to develop a stronger sense of social responsibility and to nurture the feeling of giving back to society.

On this occasion, Brigadier R. Satyanarayan, Director of NDRF Academy, Nagpur, and Commandant Santosh Bahadur Singh of NDRF Pune, shared their insightful thoughts. They elaborated on national disaster management and expressed their expectations that National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers should actively and enthusiastically participate in this important national service.

In the eight-day training programme, under the inspiration of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Indra Mani and Director of Instruction Dr. Bhagwan Asewar, and under the guidance of Student Welfare Officer Dr. Rajesh Kadam, a team of eight NSS student volunteers from Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University participated along with Programme Officer Dr. Subhash Vikhe.

During the inaugural session, respected members of the University Executive Council, all Directors, administrative officers, Associate Deans, Heads of Departments, Student Welfare Officers, and University Coordinator Dr. Rajesh Kadam of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, along with coordinators from all universities across Maharashtra and their respective student teams, were present.
