माझे मत — माझा अधिकार’ : वनामकृविच्या कृषि अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयाचा लोकशाही जागृती उपक्रम

 माननीय कुलगुरू प्रा. (डॉ.) इन्द्र मणि यांची प्रेरणा

वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठांतील कृषि  अभियांत्रिकी व तंत्रज्ञान महाविद्यालयाने दिनांक १४ जानेवारी २०२५ रोजी मतदार जागृती अभियान मोठ्या उत्साहात राबविले. विद्यापीठाचे माननीय कुलगुरू प्रा. (डॉ.) इन्द्र मणि यांच्या प्रेरणेने व शिक्षण संचालक डॉ. भगवान आसेवार यांच्या मार्गदर्शनामुळे या उपक्रमास विशेष दिशा मिळाली. युवकांमध्ये लोकशाही मूल्यांची जाणीव निर्माण करणे तसेच मतदानाचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित करणे हा या अभियानाचा मुख्य उद्देश होता.

कार्यक्रमाचे उद्घाटन महाविद्यालयाचे सहयोगी अधिष्ठाता डॉ. राहुल रामटेके यांच्या हस्ते झाले. संपूर्ण अभियानास राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना अधिकारी डॉ. सुभाष विखे यांचे मार्गदर्शन लाभले.

या अभियानांतर्गत विद्यार्थ्यांनी प्रभावी व विचारप्रवर्तक पथनाट्य सादर करून मतदानाचे महत्त्व समाजासमोर मांडले. पथनाट्याच्या माध्यमातून “माझे मत — माझा अधिकार” हा संदेश ठळकपणे देण्यात आला. मतदान न केल्यास होणारे दुष्परिणाम, सजग नागरिकाची भूमिका व लोकशाहीतील सहभागाचे महत्त्व प्रभावीपणे अधोरेखित करण्यात आले.

यानंतर महाविद्यालय परिसर तसेच शहरातील प्रमुख मार्गांवरून मतदार जागृती रॅली काढण्यात आली. रॅलीदरम्यान विद्यार्थ्यांनी घोषणाफलक व बॅनरच्या माध्यमातून “मतदान करा — लोकशाही मजबूत करा”, “एक मत — मोठा बदल” अशा घोषणा देत नागरिकांना मतदानासाठी प्रेरित केले. रॅलीमुळे परिसरात मतदानाबाबत सकारात्मक व जागरूक वातावरण निर्माण झाले.

अभियानाच्या वेळी डॉ. विशाल इंगळे, श्री. पी. आय. महादेव मजरंकर, श्री. पी. एस. आय. विठ्ठलराव काटारे व पोलीस कॉन्स्टेबल श्री. मुजमुळे यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती होती. तसेच महाविद्यालयातील कर्मचारी श्री. प्रमोद राठोड व श्री. हनुमान ढगे यांचीही उपस्थिती होती. महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापक, अधिकारी, कर्मचारी व विद्यार्थी मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते.

या उपक्रमात सांगापवाड प्रांजली, शिंदे आरती, वाघ अंकिता, आडे भाग्यश्री, भारडम सपना, इंगळे मुदिता, चोपडे आर्या, श्रुती हरकल, सुरवसे हर्षदा व लव्हारे जानवी या विद्यार्थिनींचा सक्रिय सहभाग लाभला. पथनाट्य सादरीकरण, घोषणाफलकांची तयारी तसेच रॅलीचे नियोजन व अंमलबजावणी त्यांनी जबाबदारीने पार पाडली.

या मतदार जागृती अभियानामुळे समाजात सकारात्मक संदेश गेला असून युवकांमध्ये मतदानाबाबत सजगता वाढली आहे. भविष्यातही लोकशाही मूल्ये रुजविण्यासाठी अशा प्रकारचे उपक्रम सातत्याने राबविण्यात येणार असल्याचे महाविद्यालय प्रशासनाने सांगितले.

“My Vote — My Right”: A Democratic Awareness Initiative of the VNMKV’s College of Agricultural Engineering

 
Inspired by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Indra Mani

VNMKS’s College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology organised a Voters’ Awareness Campaign with great enthusiasm on 14 January 2025. The programme received special direction due to the inspiration of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Indra Mani and the guidance of Director of instruction Dr. Bhagwan Asewar. The main objective of the campaign was to create awareness of democratic values among the youth and to highlight the importance of voting.

The programme was inaugurated by the Associate Dean of the college, Dr. Rahul Ramteke. The entire campaign was guided by the National Service Scheme Officer, Dr. Subhash Vikhe.

As part of the campaign, students presented an effective and thought-provoking street play to convey the importance of voting to society. Through the street play, the message “My Vote — My Right” was strongly communicated. The ill effects of not voting, the role of a responsible citizen, and the importance of participation in democracy were effectively highlighted.

Subsequently, a voters’ awareness rally was organised in the college campus and along the major roads of the city. During the rally, students motivated citizens to vote by displaying placards and banners and raising slogans such as “Vote — Strengthen Democracy” and “One Vote — A Big Change”. The rally created a positive and aware atmosphere regarding voting in the area.

On the occasion, Dr. Vishal Ingale, Shri P. I. Mahadev Majrankar, Shri P. S. I. Vitthalrao Katare and Police Constable Shri Mujmule were prominently present. The college staff Shri Pramod Rathod and Shri Hanuman Dhage were also present. A large number of teachers, officers, staff members and students of the college attended the programme.

Students Pranjali Sangapwad, Aarti Shinde, Ankita Wagh, Bhagyashree Ade, Sapna Bharad, Mudita Ingale, Arya Chopade, Shruti Harkal, Harshada Survase and Janhavi Lavhare actively participated in the programme. They responsibly carried out the street play performance, preparation of placards, and the planning and execution of the rally.

The campaign conveyed a positive message to society and increased awareness about voting among the youth. The college administration stated that such programmes would be conducted regularly in the future to inculcate democratic values.
