महाराष्ट्राचे माननीय राज्यपाल तथा राज्यातील विद्यापीठांचे माननीय कुलपती
यांच्या मान्यतेने वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठ, परभणीच्या कार्यकारी परिषदेवर (Executive Council) माननीय डॉ. आर. सी. अग्रवाल यांची कुलपती नामनिर्देशित सदस्य म्हणून नियुक्ती
करण्यात आली आहे. त्यांची नियुक्ती तीन वर्षांच्या कालावधीसाठी करण्यात आली असून,
ती तत्काळ प्रभावाने लागू झाली आहे.
माननीय राज्यपालांचे सहसचिव माननीय श्री. एस. रामामूर्ती, भा.प्र.से. यांनी दिनांक २३ सप्टेंबर २०२६ रोजी जारी
केलेल्या पत्राद्वारे ही नियुक्ती कळविण्यात आली आहे. महाराष्ट्र कृषि विद्यापीठे अधिनियम,
१९८३ मधील कलम ३० (१) (viii) अन्वये माननीय डॉ.
आर. सी. अग्रवाल यांची वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठाच्या कार्यकारी
परिषदेवर माननीय कुलपती नामनिर्देशित सदस्य म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे.
नियुक्तीबाबतचे पत्र वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठाचे माननीय
कुलगुरू प्रा. (डॉ.) इन्द्र मणि यांना माहिती व आवश्यक कार्यवाहीसाठी पाठविण्यात
आले आहे. माननीय डॉ. आर. सी. अग्रवाल हे भारतीय कृषी संशोधन परिषदेच्या (ICAR) कृषी शिक्षण विभागाचे माजी उपमहासंचालक (Former
Deputy Director-General – Agricultural Education) आहेत. कृषी
शिक्षण, उच्च कृषी शिक्षण व्यवस्था तसेच कृषी विद्यापीठांच्या
विकास क्षेत्रात त्यांना प्रदीर्घ अनुभव असून, या
क्षेत्रातील त्यांची तज्ज्ञता उल्लेखनीय आहे. त्यांच्या व्यापक अनुभवाचा लाभ
वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठाच्या शैक्षणिक, संशोधनात्मक
आणि प्रशासकीय कार्यासह धोरणात्मक निर्णयप्रक्रियेस होणार आहे. त्यांच्या
मार्गदर्शनामुळे विद्यापीठाच्या गुणवत्तावृद्धी व विकासाच्या विविध उपक्रमांना
निश्चितच चालना मिळण्यास मदत होणार आहे.
या नियुक्तीबद्दल वसंतराव नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठाचे माननीय कुलगुरू
प्रा. (डॉ.) इन्द्र मणि यांनी माननीय डॉ. आर. सी. अग्रवाल यांचे अभिनंदन केले. डॉ.
अग्रवाल यांच्या प्रदीर्घ अनुभवाचा व तज्ज्ञ मार्गदर्शनाचा विद्यापीठाच्या
शैक्षणिक, संशोधनात्मक, विस्तार आणि प्रशासकीय
कार्याला मोठा लाभ होईल, तसेच त्यांच्या मार्गदर्शनामुळे
विद्यापीठाच्या धोरणात्मक बाबींना योग्य दिशा मिळण्यास मदत होईल, असा विश्वास त्यांनी व्यक्त केला. त्यांच्या तज्ज्ञ मार्गदर्शनातून
विद्यापीठाच्या गुणवत्तावृद्धी, संशोधनविकास आणि विविध
शैक्षणिक उपक्रमांना अधिक बळ मिळेल, अशी अपेक्षाही त्यांनी
व्यक्त करून माननीय डॉ. अग्रवाल यांना पुढील कार्यासाठी शुभेच्छा दिल्या.

Hon’ble Dr. R. C. Agrawal Appointed as
Chancellor-Nominated Member of VNMKV Executive Council
With the
approval of the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra and Hon’ble Chancellor of the
Universities in the State, Hon’ble Dr. R. C. Agrawal has been appointed as a Chancellor-nominated member of the Executive Council
of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV), Parbhani.
His appointment is for a period of three
years and has come into effect immediately.
The appointment
was communicated through a letter issued on 23 September 2026 by Hon’ble Shri S. Ramamurti, IAS, Joint
Secretary to the Hon’ble Governor, Maharashtra. The appointment of Hon’ble Dr.
R. C. Agrawal as a Chancellor-nominated member of the Executive Council of
VNMKV has been made under Section
30(1)(viii) of the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Act, 1983.
The appointment
letter has been forwarded to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Vasantrao Naik
Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Prof.
(Dr.) Indra Mani, for information and necessary action.
Hon’ble Dr. R.
C. Agrawal is the Former Deputy
Director-General (Agricultural Education) of the Indian Council of Agricultural
Research (ICAR). He has extensive experience in the fields of
agricultural education, higher agricultural education systems, and the
development of agricultural universities. His expertise and wide-ranging
experience are expected to contribute significantly to the academic, research
and administrative activities of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth,
as well as to its strategic decision-making processes. His guidance is expected
to provide further impetus to various initiatives aimed at enhancing the
quality and overall development of the University.
Congratulating
Hon’ble Dr. R. C. Agrawal on his appointment, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Indra Mani expressed
confidence that Dr. Agrawal’s extensive experience and expert guidance would
greatly benefit the academic, research, extension and administrative activities
of the University. He further stated that Dr. Agrawal’s guidance would help
provide appropriate direction to the University’s strategic initiatives and
strengthen its efforts towards quality enhancement, research development and
various academic programmes.
The Hon’ble
Vice-Chancellor expressed his expectations that Dr. Agrawal’s expert guidance
would further strengthen the University’s academic and research initiatives and
extended his best wishes to Hon’ble Dr. R. C. Agrawal for his new
responsibility.
